Grace and Peace

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in knowledge of God and Jesus Christ our Lord. For his divine power has given us all the is required for life and godliness.
2 Peter 1: 2-3

For about a month now, Kyle and I have known of the possibility that Jaxon may have a cleft lip and palette.

Sometimes in our lives, both emotionally and spiritually we have to go through mourning periods. Maybe not literally but we have to mourn the loss of our expectations. We've been through that period and come to terms with God's grace.

On Thursday, we found out that it fairly close to 100% certain that Jaxon has a cleft lip that possibly extends into his palette.  After much research we know that in this day and age, they can do amazing things for these sweet babies that are born with clefts.

We are certain that God knew about Jaxon before the foundations of the word and fully intended for Kyle and I to be his parents. Just like any other journey in life, we have some hurdles ahead . But that verse above has given me hope and strength, knowing that God has given us everything we need for this life.
We want to thank our families that have given us so much support and coaching and have prayed for us earnestly. God is still sovereign and our lives belong to him.

We are so excited to have Jaxon join our family and meet all the people that already love him so much!
