Fostering Update

We've had several friends ask about our progress with foster care. We're pleased to announce that we DONE with all our paperwork. I heard from a contact at the DHS office that we were in line to do our "final walk through" and be open soon.

It's been a long time coming but honestly we're so thankful to have had the prep time. Just like bringing that first baby home, I'm sure that there will be times that we don't know if we're cut out for this, or that we don't have a clue what we're doing but we know this is something God has called us to do and for such a time as this we want to be a safe place for these kiddos to come see what love and family looks like.

And another things we're heard alot of lately is the word HARD. "don't you know that's going to hard.", "I think that would be really really really hard." And to that I have just one line that has meant the world to me this past year since we moved away from family and friends;

"We are not suppose to pray for easier lives, we are suppose to pray to be stronger men and women for the Lord."
